Pennies for Patients
May 11-May 15
Starting the week of May 11, 2015, Fulton will join almost
30,000 schools nationwide by participating in "Pennies for
Patients.” All week, our students can be a part of a program,
run by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, that helps
patients with blood cancers. Their mission is to cure leukemia,
lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma, and improve the
quality of life of patients and their families. Donations from
our program help families of patients pay for medicines,
doctors, or other treatment-related expenses, in addition to
help funding research for a cure.
Students can collect coins and other donations and put them
in the classroom's collection box. Remember that every single
penny counts! The class who collects the most money will win
their very own PASTA PARTY here at Fulton!
Any parent volunteers who are interested in helping the week
of the 11th, please contact Ms. Valente.
