Full STEAM Ahead at the Fulton Finery

STEAM Night Career Showcase

On May 19th, from 7:00-8:30 p.m., Fulton will host our first STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Mathematics) Night for our school community in conjunction with the Fulton Finery.  We hope everyone can make it to help us celebrate the excellent learning that has occurred this year at Fulton!

In order to facilitate one portion of this event, we are looking for adults in our community who have STEM careers who would be willing to share their expertise in a showcase poster session from 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the Media Center. STEM careers range from medical technicians to engineers to mathematicians to electricians to contractors to musicians– any career that uses science, technology, engineering, and math.

An ideal way to showcase a career would be to create a tri-fold board, which we can provide, to display educational timelines, pictures, projects, or anything else that may stimulate the interest of our students. Students and participants will circulate through the exhibits, asking questions to gain a better understanding of the STEM field which you are representing.
